Ira
Has anyone had success shooting over peas, where after harvest the dropped peas have been uneaten, the field uncultivated and a flush of new pea shoots are a couple of inches high. I have been told there are pigeons on em and I shall have a look see tomorrow with a view to shooting it Sunday! Is this a pipe dream and the farmers son is having me over or have you fellows had this happen before???

motty
I would be surprised if a big bag was shot on those pea plants.
Ira
Had a look at the field today, there is not much going on, although there was a huge rain storm whilst I was there. a few pigeons and not many plants so I don't think it will be worth a look. We had all the beans cut last week and as yet we have had no numbers on the them either, despite the field being littered as they were shelling. best fields have been the wheat but the ******* are not decoying, at least I haven't worked out what works just yet!!! Maybe a couple of dry days and the beans will draw them in proper?
