doo hunter
Is flubenvet the only remedy to cure gapes?
MattSoanes
Panacur will do the job, it's a horse wormer but still works, get the liquid from any horse feed/equine shop ( tell them you have a horse it's easier ) mix at 25ml per 25litres of water, treat them for 5-7 days. I paid £24 for a bottle and it treated 400 birds for a week. And yes I do know your not supposed to give them panacur but it works and it easy to get hold of. scotslad
On similar lines Fenzol, is a cattle sheep wormer, 1ml to a liter Last year paid 80 qiud for a gallon as only size my vets could get quickly. Will last me for a very long time, well until it goes out of date. If ur wanting some for free give me a shout but probably too far to drive, 70miles from edin? The probelm u might find now with using a liquid/treating water not so ideal in wet weather and esp so if birds have left the pen as so much other water about
doo hunter
Thanks for the offer scotslad,we shoot down the borders so driving a fair distance every couple of days checking the birds etc. I got some panacur today so will give it a try. Most of the birds are still in the pen,the poults were late in coming this year which was a bit of a ******.
