eccles
Went up to relations farm last night after they said seen 3 foxes on fields about 5 ish Fri. Anyway walked down to said fields nothing to be seen. Started to head back lamping as i walked nothing, only mad cows and sheep. Got near farm i went to checked 3 fields nothing on first two. Put lamp on 3 nothing then shone over river severn pair of eyes. Put caller on it flew in to far bank looked through Archer he was just sat there. Field was about 180y + river could see it clear but no safe shot. Then it headed down river waited a while and calling no sign. Decided to head back to track and walk down further to see if i could see him down stream. Walked about 300y and got by river on with Archer no sign then put red on and the monkey was 300y down stream. Soon as lamp hit it off it went but made mistake of heading back up river. Had the rifle on it all the way as it came straight in front of me, where a old bank where hedge used to be, he made the mistake of being on my side of it. Quick Oi boom down it went 160y ish. Land otherside is on same farm. No pic as not getting wet crossing river for no fox. He looked a big fox.
WelshMike
Well done on the shot Terry but I am a bit concerned that you were not prepared to get soaked to share your foxy photos with us. Must try harder next time
