fox callers

hello, there are quite a few on the market and i recently bought the foxcaller plastic thingy to try being a newby myself did not get any joy, then i remembered i had bought a Lohman circe some time ago so gave that a try and i got a fox on 2 different nights just before dark come from 200 trs away through a boundary hedge which is my other perm. i did not shoot as was learning and getting ranges.

No easy answer to this one as what works on one will not work on another. I have a foxpro wildfire with some downloaded calls and this works really well on times (distressed cub call, vixen call etc) and scares them off at other times.

 

I have a wam caller which I have had good results with but recently they have seemed to come into a simple hand call (the advantage is its free).

 

Sounds like you need another electronic caller if you are going to use it to distract them when they are breeding. As long as you can download calls to it and the volume range is reasonable there should be a good bit of choice for you mate. Good luck
