Biddy
My name and shame I had a trip planed where I have to cross some fairly deep water and as my old chesties leak thought I would buy a cheap pair as I only wear chesties when I have too. I was looking at Vass but opted for prologic nylon as they were advertised with 3 mm fully lined boots good for cold feet I thought. They were advertised fast delivery approx two days but took four, they arrived the day of the trip so threw them in the van and off, when I put them on I found they had no lining at all, when I returned I contacted seller Danson angling on eBay and suggested as I had worn them and couldn't return them he could possibly send me some boot liners as I thought he had miss sold me the waders, I was told even though the advert said they were lined and weren't I should take it up with Prologic as his advert was the same as on the box I emailed Prologic and they ignored me. I contacted Danson again and they said he had spoken to Prologic and they and he thought nothing was wrong with their advert even though the boots are not lined. eBay didn't want to know, Needless to say I won't be buying Prologic waders again or using Danson angling. panoma1
They were not "as described" the trader that sold them to you is responsible, I would demand my money back......or at least a replacement that matched the description.........if they refuse I should contact your local authority trading standards department for advice! Tomo-1
I agree with panoma1. Don't give this up, you are in the right. The product is not as advertised. Keep all of the evidence i.e. original advert, emails etc. (hard and electronic copies). Send electronic copies to your local "trading Standards Office" who are usually very helpful, and should advise you on the best plan of action. Failing that I would send the same copies and a polite letter to both parties (addressed "to the Managing Director"), then if you hear nothing I would get hold of a "small claims court" advice of intent form from your local council. This usually does the trick. Good luck.

Biddy
Yes was going to go the trading standards route but couldn't return them as I had worn them as they arrived late and I had nothing else, should have gone Vass as had a Prologic neoprene pair once that only did a season. panoma1
Yes was going to go the trading standards route but couldn't return them as I had worn them as they arrived late and I had nothing else, should have gone Vass as had a Prologic neoprene pair once that only did a season. I don't believe your wearing them affects the fact they were "misdescribed" and consequently your right to return them?.......under the circumstances you describe it would probably be accepted in court as "reasonable" to wear them.............trading standards will advise!
