dob
I have got a Redfield scope on my .223 , its one with the acurange system that has marks on cross hairs that apparently allow you to shoot up to 500 yards just by using these marks instead of having ballistic turrets, has anybody got one and if so do these marks actually work .i spose I could pace out 300 and 400 yards and try it but if I miss I won't know if it's my shooting or the scope. Hope this is clear.
walshie
I'm sure Redfield know what they are doing, but I can't see how it could work. surely it would depend on what gun/ammo you are using?
Fisheruk
It is practice which counts. Once you have done the practice you will have the confidence. Unless you practice you will not know. No short cut that I can see.
scobydog
Which scope do you have, does it have several marks on crosshairs or just a couple, I have a 3 9 50 revolution on my 270 it is a great scope for the money. s
dob
It's a 3-12x50 , you have to zero your rifle depending on caliber ,Up to 22.250 it works on a 200 yard zero .bigger calibres the zero changes.
