Sean Richo
Right been thinking about getting a Baikal Mp153 after Christmas around £500 but a local gun shop has got a really good Christmas offer the Hatsan Escort Extreme should be £490 special offer £275. My mate has bought one but on sat it started to jam on second shot but I suppose it needs breaking in like any good. Should I stick with the plan and get a Mp153 after Christmas or jump at this offer as it is very cheap? Am thinking of reliability only I just want a hassle free gun and don't want to buy second hand or pay more than £500 seems a really good offer. landy george
I'd go for what you want. I had a Hatsan & sold it a year later (with no real problems, just the odd jam when I didn't need it. Seen nothing all day then 2 mallard come over) but if you have something in mind go for it. I did think of the MP153 but ended up with Maxus as I'd always wanted one.
Sean Richo
Just thinking of saving a few quid really but might regret it although people swear by them others don't but price is very good
landy george
Price doesn't come into it when as I said, sat all day waiting for a duck & then it jams
welshwarrior
Both are ok but for the money I'd look at a Beretta Semi auto like the A390 for £500 s/h you'll get a better gun.

Yes but id he is looking at the extreme and Mp153 I guess he wants a 3.5" chamber and he will not pick up a 3.5" Beretta for that money. In answer to your question I would still go for the Mp 153 it will still be going strong long after the hatsan has been scrapped !
welshwarrior
Ok if it's 3.5" The MP for my money.
