clayandgame
Anyone got one of the new transformer T series lights from ludicrous lumens? Was thinking of buying a NM 800 but these seem quite a reasonable ligfht??? http://www.ludicrous-lumens.co.uk/Transformer__38mm-75mm_illuminatorGun_light_system/p2616500_15292115.aspx Thoughts please
oowee
I have something like this using the new cree led's which are excellent. I cannot understand how some of the high priced hunting torches are still being sold when these hugh voltage units are so impressive. Not a lot to pay for so much light i say. spready
Ive got one, its the same as the standard T50 with the AS chip, but alot more compact and lighter, with the added bonus you can buy the larger or smaller heads and just add to your torch body and IR. they are pretty much identical to the Nm800
clayandgame
Thanks Spready and OOwee. Also opinions on size of lens and colour mainly for foxing on a centre fire .223 rifle. and a .22 for bunnies
oowee
I dont know about cf for the range you want but you can get different pill colours to keep them guessing which are great for .22.
Remimax
have a ludicrous lumens T50 on a CF & T67on me spotter, good service with fast deliverey, you don't need to pay silly money for decent illumination. i have just ordered the AS black pills from them to upgrade the existing IR fitted on both of mine the beam on the T67 on white is as good as any nightmaster i've seen. seem to recall about 150-175yards was average useable shooting range on a red light pill on a rifle mounted T50. obviously a lot futher for eyeshine when used as a spotting lamp The T67 is a heavy lump for mounting on a rifle but will punch out futher. I purchased an AS 'IR' pil from them, as a replacement for my T20. It does make a difference too.

T50s only on for the shot with me NT300 so shouldn't be an issue. Edited December 30, 2015 by Remimax
new shot
I have the T75 very impressed with it, never seen a NM800 so couldn't compare. Can swap it around to suit.. Was a prompt service and Andy from Ludicrus Lumens was very helpful as I was asking loads of questions before purchase.
