nickologjam
I have 8 no. 16.5mm signal flare cartridges. No idea how they ended up with me. Can't find them online so guessing they are now obsolete?? Free to a good home if you can collect from Newton Le Willows, Merseyside. Any info on them would also be interesting.............or better still a free 16.5mm flare gun!!!
TIGHTCHOKE
We used to use all the old one's up on bonfire nights years ago. One of our neighbours was a Thames Tugboat Captain and would bring old stuff home.

Not saying don't have them just be careful especially if the case is damaged/corroding.

How would out of date flares be disposed of? Does bonfire night wonderment count as 'good cause'??!!

Do NOT think you can let them off without using the proper equipment without risk of serious injury or death. They are not something to be messed with. You could well be a candidate for a Darwin Award. nickologjam
Thanks Fizz Definitely no suggestion that they will be misused. I am fully aware they need to be used in a flare gun and will ensure that the end recipient is also aware. I just want rid!
