B391
can anyone tell me if the Remy 1100 has a straight stock? I am just not getting on with the Beretta 391, and I think it is the stock off-set. My MK60 has a straight stock and my Remy 1100 looks like it is a straight stock and I shoot both very well. I just don't seem to get on with the Beretta which has the DX shims. I have consistent mounts with the MK60 and the 1100 but cannot get the same consistent sight/rib picture or hit rate with the Beretta. Its messing with my head I think to such an extent I may well sell it. Oh - I have tried various shim settings etc.

mudpatten
Stop guessing mate and lash out for a proper gun fitting at your local shooting school. The information/measurements you glean from this will last for years and can be transferred to any gun you subsequently purchase. It will even enable you to avoid completely those guns that cannot be altered to fit without spending lots of money.
TDS
Rem 1100 and 1187 have no cast i.e straight Also they have a slimmer and more open grip than a Beretta , makes them ( to me ) nicer to handle I have both Remington and Beretta autos and much prefer the Rem for fit
B391
think I will visit the gun shot for a fit then and if the Beretta is still a problem trade it in for - maybe - a Versamax, SX3 or a Maxus. But I wont have any preference until I try them all and see what fits.
