Dogs
Hi any A5 experts out there ? I have got a light weight A5 browning and I am trying to remove the breech block from the receiver, now normally there is a notch cut out on the ejection port which lines up with a corresponding hole on the other side of the receiver which allows you to drift a pin out of the breech block from the ejection side and clear of the receiver on the other side (providing you have lined it all up ). That enables you to release the locking block latch and remove the block/bolt. On the said A5 the said notch and hole doesn't exist so the normal method / procedure isn't possible ? any body experienced this ? and know how to remove it ? I have the downloaded instructions on this from one of the USA specialist gunsmiths - may be able to PM it as an attachment Had a similar problem on one of mine when I was trying to strip it prior to duracoating it
