2" 410 recipe

Recommended Posts

Interesting. I looked in my small bore manual and there is a stack of weird loads in it but not one 2" among them

Can see such a thing being handy for some jobs even thought of some myself for around buildings and traps

Correct me if I am wrong but if you work off less shot is less pressure could you not work down a published longer load in perfect safety looking for best fit and pattern for what you want?

Hi Kent

No the gun is 3" bit its more of a load for rats at close range in timber and tin sheds all i can find is a c&g load for a 65mm but it no were near fits and plenty of 3" loads that smash the sheds up to much. I have been using Eley 2" but have ran out now i din"t think it would be to hard to find a 2" recipe but it looks like i may have to just have a play till i get it somewhere near what i want

gm3 0.5grams, 7.7grains per 9gram cartridge, 2000 loads per kilo of powder.

same again for A1, 0.5grams, 7.7grains per 9gram cartridge, 2000 loads per kilo of powder.

0.6gram tecna-n- 12 grams of shot, 1667 cartridges per kilo

0.65gram tecna-n 17 grams shot 1538 cartridges per kilo

thats the difference between the powders. 2000 cartridges is a lot per kg, but not if its a severely limp cartridge.

sp3, drives 1/2 shot to 5/8oz shot.... why limit yourself?
