I have shot a lot and my rifle was either a 308Win or a 30-06 with a 150gr bullet. That was 25-30yrs ago. Today the calibre would be the same and if you intend using factory then the Nosler Accubond, if reloading then Barnes TTSX, again in the 150 to 165 grain range.
