lksopener
As per the title, I was a huge fan of Winchester cartridges when I first started out but it seems supplies have all but dried up? Would anyone know a stockist of any Winchester cartridges like AA trap? Even if only for nostalgic reasons I'd like a box or two
bruno22rf
The smell of AA Trap always used to give me a headache

Probably at least 20 years old, but they have been in a cupboard in the house at an even temperature and humidity all the time, so should be OK. They used to be popular among the top sporting shooters. I bought 100 in a fit of enthusiasm, and then realised that any old squib would suffice at my level of skill. Kept them all this time, in reserve for a "special" shoot, but find that cheap-ish things like Superfast are perfectly adequate for my purposes (social shooting, rather than formal competitions). They are from a batch in 1973!! Been kept cool and dry, I tried a box a couple of months ago, shoot great! They were given to me by a gun shop owner pal, when he retired. I love the comp cases, along with Remington RXP, and Remington Blue Magic, the best cases ever for reloading.........I have squirrelled away about 1,000 RXP cases (for a rainy day!) None of them are for sale, unless I turn my toes up, and then the wife will probably give them away!
