Alpha Mule
Be subtle! http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=320831&d=1449136564 Can't link the picture. I brought my 'slipped air rifle on the back of my bike from London to South Wales without issue. I even had a traffic car pull in behind me when I stopped for juice in Membury (Gawd knows where he came from). I didn't realise it, and was getting huffy with the staff for insisting I took my lid off to pay. As I'd been "making good progress" just previous to pulling in, I decided to play along - and got no further grief.
Vince Green
The guitar case is favourite. My mate (now deceased) used to carry his shotgun around on his Harley like that all the time. Blocked it out with some thin plywood cut to a guitar shape and some foam to hold the gun broken down.
