winnie&bezza
Just watching this farming life on bbc1 and they showed a deer stalk on the highlands. Now the hind was on a brow and the shot was taken with no backstop but hills in the distance. Do they take shots like that as they know that there is no houses around and just hills? Just curious. Remimax
i'd be more worried about the roving bumblies or walkers to be technical, seem to have a habit of poping up in the wrong place/time.
wascal
Never belive what you see on film I think there was some selective editing by the film crew to fill in missing pieces When they were removing the carcass it looked away from the ridge

winnie&bezza
Glad I'm not the only one then. True wascal but if I was the person taking the shot and it was a safe shot with backstop and then I see the tv footage and it had been edited in a way that it showed a dodgy shot like it was then I wouldn't be to happy. People would think I'm an idiot and I'd be complaining to bbc for it to be corrected or a mentioned their mistake in a future show.
winnie&bezza
It was funny as when they was watching a deer on a brow at the beginning I said to my GF they can't take the shot as its on a brow with no backstop and then a couple of mins later they shot one on a brow!
