SNAKEBITE
I can see that they are very talented musicians but I could never get my head round them. It just sounds so fussy and over produced. Sorry.

Lost Magpie
Anyone else NOT like Pink floyd around here? I really cant stand it myself A friend once hit me when I told him what I think of it.. im sittin here listening to U2 BEST OF 80-90 NOTHING BETTER, seen them 2 year ago in dublin never forget it Bono is a top shelf cocknocker imo, can't stand the bloke. U2 are vastly overated and shouldn't even be mentioned in the same thread as Floyd to be honest but we'll let you off this time >Scots Sensitivity > >Bono, the lead singer of the band U2, is famous throughout the >entertainment industry for being more than just a little >self-righteous. Suffolk shooter
I decided to drag out some of the old CD's I haven't listened to in a long while, so this week I have been listening to Bands such as Saxon -Wheels of Steel, Thunder - Best of, Little Angels-JAM live, Pat Benatar. To the earlier poster with the 13 year old daughter who likes the 80's rock, I say let her hear more. Its nice to know that in this day and age kids still appreciate good music. This stuff has been played for coming up forty years unlike todays modern rubbish which hangs in the charts for 2-3 weeks and then fades into obscurity. Our eldest daughter knows Bon Jovi and Meatloaf like the back of her hands, along with Led Zepplin at al and shes only seven. Might be due to the fact that me and the missus went to both Bon jovi at Wembley and Meatloaf concerts whilst she was pregnant with her.
