Harry136
Hi, I have a Browning Maxus Grade 3 which i mostly use on clays. I also have have a Browning Cynergy, i have tried fitting the chokes from the Cynergy into my Maxus and to my surprise, they fit! I think the gun looks better with the extended chokes, my question is, is it safe to shoot the Maxus with the Cynergy chokes in?
kennett
If they are both invector + go for it. The type is printed on te choke tube

fenboy
Yes , I would imagine both are Invector + so it will be fine to use the chokes in the Maxus and vice versa.
Harry136
The choke type isn't printed on the tubes, but having looked at the website, it would appear that the chokes are the Diamond type.
kennett
Which website? From what I can see on the Internet "diamond" is an aftermarket choke brand, only found it referenced on American sites. I'm almost certain the maxus is inv+ as my friend had one and we couldn't share chokes as my miroku is inv

WinchesterDave
Yes you'll be fine - I've a Winchester select a Win Sx3 and a Browning 525 Sporter and at some point they've all shared their chokes with one another because they're all invector + tubes! Go for it mate, last time I used my sx3 I put my new extended 3/8 choke in which was bought as one of a pair for my 525 lol Edited March 28, 2016 by WinchesterDave
