jeddy11
Hi After a break from shooting for 20 years i started airgunning and just got my SGC went out and couldn't hit a cows *** with a banjo after around 15 shots ! After having a read up and working my technique i ventured out for another go taking my boy with me, after a few warm up shots i downed my first bird ! My boy who had some experience at clay shooting with one of his mates was giving it teenage large that he could do better and that i was supposed to watch the bird dancing on the gun sight and other mumbo jumbo he had picked up . Challenge accepted and i passed him the gun expecting him not to hit a thing. Anyway a bird comes over and he swings nicely and shoots the target stone dead 1 shot one kill style, well i didn't hear the last of this for the rest of the afternoon ! I had another kill after this and then we called it quits.. We're off to shoot some clays this week if we can navigate a dry day so i can really test him out.... WelshMike
Nice one mate, cant beat corvid shooting. I would suggest after a 20 year break you try for carrions rather then jackdaws as they are bigger and slower
