Alpha Mule
My renewal time is coming up for the first time and I'd appreciate some advice. Do I need to go through all the rigmarole required for the original application (doctors approval etc.)? The only real change is that I've picked up a few motoring points. Are there specific forms for a renewal, as the only ones I can see are the original applications? I'm also considering asking for a .243, to accompany my LR, HMR and 22-250. I don't want to swap out one of the others, so it'll be an addition. Also I'm in South Wales. Any idea of queue lengths? Cheers
mossy835
you have to fill out all the forms again, print them off the police web site, just put down motoring offences like i do.
steve_b_wales
You will also need new photographs too, and get two referees. Regarding waiting time, my renewal took 2.5 weeks from the time the FEO left my home. The referee's were not contacted either.
ozcarp
you have to fill out all the forms again, print them off the police web site, just put down motoring offences like i do. But surely if Alpha mule puts "motoring offences like Mossy835 does", won't that confuse the police? Edited April 10, 2016 by ozcarp
