08shooter
well guys i seen this little ****** jumping around the farmyard next to me this morning.i opened the front door a few inches.i had to allow four dots over and two to the left.result one fatally stung magpie.the distance 90 ms belled with the rangefinder, this is my furthest shot with my s400 xtra,so all you rapid men out there just to let you see air arms and other brands can do it every bit as well.this is one seriously accurate gun.i hope the hw100fac will be able to match it. dont listen to anyone who says that fac only gives you a few yards, thats total nonsense

naddan28
good shot espically considering the 35ftlbs? a fac s410xtra puts out. I am assuming its 35ftlb .22?

Ferret Master
If the accuracy and power are there then why not! Nice shot. The Air Arms guns are certainly accurate enough. Kneeling yesterday with the fore end of my sub 12ft/lbs S410 .22 rested on a small seat I hit a 30mm disc 10/10 times at 61m paced. Very capable guns. pin
Assuming about 600f/s pellet speed, zero'd at 27yds @ 9x mag (assuming average scope height) - my sums tell me 3moa hold over would be 50yds or thereabouts. Still some good shooting 10/10 at 50yds with a 12ft/lb .22 mate
08shooter
i think its around 1000fps 8 mag and zeroed at 40ms i would nt attempt it at 12 ft lbs.

Sorry dude, not you, FB  Should have specified And for the figures you quote you'd be bang on, 4MOA would be about 91yds or thereabouts (don't know your scope height). That's some shooting I use an Xtra FAC now and again and I have taken rabbit @65yds in a good crosswind and I know that's about my limit - more if it were my rifle I guess. I'll find out next month when I buy one, want to experiment with lighter pellets
