Blackpowder
Anyone put their fire arms certificate through the washing machine? I have and am left with a small amount of paper pulp with some words legible , enough to prove it is the remains of a F/C. What is the procedure? I have had a recent visit for renewal which is due in June. Must I store my rifles with a RFD or get a temporary certificate? Blackpowder Edit Sorry the title should read Partial destroyed. Davyo
Get a copy from firearms department,i cant remember if there is a small charge. No RDF as it hasn't expired, when i had no space for bullets i popped in expecting just to get an additional page. They took the FAC off me and came back 10mins later with a spanking new FAC (NO CHARGE) Edited May 10, 2016 by Davyo

Scully
Nephew has done this; it's not an issue. They will just issue a new one.
Blackpowder
Thanks for the replies all. Problem solved as new certificates arrived today. Well done Police Scotland transaction completed I am sure within a month of receiving my renewal notice. Blackpowder
