TONY R
Pros and cons with the beretta steel, they are a tad lighter than the Browning 425 waterfowl, so in your case it will make it a little handier for game shooting walked up etc type of shooting, but the Brownings slight mass over the Beretta is perhaps a little better for full magnum loads, but to be perfectly honest about it its very marginal, and probably down to personal preference far more than any physical weight differences, which as i said is only slight. Good luck with it.
pestcontrol1
Cheers Tony I was sort of thinking that all Berettas were a tad light but I was thinking with a good pad on it would be ok lol

TONY R
You are right they do , but its not from felt recoil its from the weight of so many people crying on it about felt recoil thats weakening it. Edited June 2, 2016 by TONY R

bruno22rf
I would strongly advise you to try the SP with heavy loads on the range before committing to buying one - some people simply cannot get on with these guns and the seemingly different way that recoil is felt as opposed to ,say, a similar Browning. Nothing against the SP just think you might be wise to try before you buy
Tony G
I have a Beretta SP in 3 1/2 inch and must admit they are a bit kicky with big loads

But i do like the stock long so would be fitting a rubber pad of some sort. The one i was going to buy has been sold today so i am now back to looking for one again

Tony G
iv been using paten master code black duck with very good results but all depends on what choke can be got for the beretta You can get the code black in Mobil fit but obviously you would need 2 ! The Brileys are only 30 quid each and you could have 2 different ones in if you wanted to
