Flashman
Has anybody joined one of the many clubs who have clubhouses in Bisley? Any particularly good or bad ones? Any benefits to joining one over another? Thanks all,
Vince Green
Probably the London and Middx is the best/biggest. Quite formal though Many of the others are small, clicky and struggling financially South London is the best if you like historical stuff in particular but still good for ordinary stuff as well and pleasantly quirky Surrey is good Edited June 16, 2016 by Vince Green
Flashman
Thanks for the feedback. Does the OSMSC fall under any of the headings, "small, clicky and struggling financially"?
Wingman
I was a member of the Artists Rifle Club for years when I lived in Woking. It was a small and friendly club with a good social scene. If there still around its worth taking a look.
adzyvilla
When I worked at Bisley, me and my workmates often went to the L&M for a drink after work, none of us were members and they didn't seem to mind us being scruffy. That always seemed to be the busiest club on the camp. Agree with previous posts though, these clubs can be a bit cliquey. Good luck with your search. Milo
For a few years I was a member of Bisley Shooting Ground, the white clubhouse last on the left before you get to Stickledown. Great facilities but I never used them enough.
