Paul taylor
Passed a fella setting hide up at side of A17 near Gedney About 15.40 today 28/06/16 Just wondered if it was any of you Fen dwelling chaps and how you got on? Plenty birds about on both rape and some flattened wheat/barley.

It's only about 4 miles from mine , they are certainly looking to get on the wheat now , as yet I have no decent laid areas though and I refuse to shoot birds I have little chance of picking. Paul taylor
No me neither mate I know it's supposed to be crop protection but can't see any point wasting birds, I don't get big bags at all but never waste anything edible, shows a lack of respect in my humble opinion. Paul taylor
The fella setting up was on some greens. The birds where going mad for what looked like wheat but I also saw lots in my journey dropping into tramlines on rape.
Konnie
That is most likely LFP greens they have some of their own folk do some of the shooting now but not all the time.
