Vince Green
I think if you read through the very small print in the AA terms and conditions, A puncture callout to a car which doesn't have a spare wheel is chargeable Edited September 2, 2016 by Vince Green

Davyo
I cant beleive people are concerned about fuel for just carrying a spare, you need to change your car if its that mutch of an issue a 4x4 the wrong motor.Plus dont give any fat mates a lift.Personally a spare should be compulsary and stop these penny pinching car dealers charging extra. In some countries in europe its compulsary to carry lots of spares like a full set of bulbs, first aid kit,hi viz, warning triangle ect. TONY R
I think if you read through the very small print in the AA terms and conditions, A puncture callout to a car which doesn't have a spare wheel is chargeable Not so the RAC and Green flag, i asked about this when traveling home when being recovered with a electrical fult on the sprinter a couple of years ago, the RAC bloke said if you take the spare wheel bracket off the tailgate or remove the cage from underneath you are exempt from a charge if the truck was originaly fitted with a spare or not. Modern cars need repair kit and it needs to be complete.
