harrycatcat1
Are you going to the South Lincolshire Wildfowling Club new members day? http://www.slwc.co.uk/ Every year the club holds a New Members Day where a BBQ and clayshoot is organised, usually during early August. It is an ideal opportunity to meet committee members, existing members and have fun at the clay shoot as well! The day is open to all, especially family members. Visits to SLWC Marsh Access Points can be pre-arranged for that day. If you want to join the club come along and ask questions. Despite what it says on the website I have it on good authority its on 13th August, it better be as thats when I am going or have they just told me that so they dont want me there? Hcc sorry if its posted in the wrong section

Would you not need to be 'mentored' anyway? Edited August 11, 2016 by motty
SClarke2004
Hi motty, I am happy to take any help I can get there's no point in me being to proud to ask for help and advice whilst I am trying to learn in a new area as I am fully aware shooting the marsh is a different aspect to wildfowl img completely. I must admit, I can't remember anyone offering to take me out on your behalf - might be my memory, though. I'm not bothered about the help bit. I just need to get off my lazy *** and find out what's what for myself. I did find it difficult to know exactly where to shoot on Frampton, though. The marker posts weren't the best when I went. I will make more of an effort to get on South Lincs marshes this season. I shot ducks pretty much every outing I had. Hope you get out as much as you can.
