30-6
Found a bit of wheat about 40 yds long by 3 yds wide that rabbits have taken to bare earth, and now the pigeons have started hitting where the wheat is standing and ripe to the edge of this. The grazed area is plastered with rabbit droppings, lots and lots of it, but the droppings are dried and pale in colour, none looked fresh. Will the rabbits have moved on, or will they feed on ripened standing wheat ? Wondering if it's worth having a mooch with the lamp and rifle.
