fortune
Are the cz 527 american scope rails a std size or are they bigger? I seem to remember that they were a wider fit and that the mounts were fairly expensive.

ZG47
CZ 452 American model grooves are 3/8" (9.5mm) as opposed to the standard 11mm adopted for the Brno Model 2 in the late 1950s and continued with the CZ 452. The catch however, is that the American model grooves are cut with a different angle cutter from the U.S. standard. This is why Sportsmatch offer a different ring-mount to suit CZ 452 American receivers. Edited August 14, 2016 by ZG47

One of the Son in Laws has just bought this gun second hand and the guy has had it since 1995 and in all of that time he has only ever shot six rounds through it, and that was just to see what it was like. it is in such good condition it is just like out of the box. This gun has a 15 m/m base. We just stuck a cheap pair of mounts and a scope off of an air rifle on it to see how it shoots and it whacks them out pretty good. he has had an incredible buy on this one. He had, had his name down in a local gunshop for a s/h gun but this came up. when he took it to the shop to take his name off of the list the shop owner thought that he had been to another shop and bought a new one fom somewhere else it is that good. All he has got to do now is get a decent set of mounts and a chunk of glass and we can start to work up a load for it. And find the time to get out on patrol and use it.
