nnorman32
I have kept passing the sign for Humberside shooting ground on my way to Hornsea and today I finally went for a look around. Makes me feel stupid for not visiting sooner, well set up archery/centre fire/rim fire/air rifle/clay ground and fishing lakes run by some nice people. Good high towers, driven grouse, rabbit and the first time I have shot a slow downhill rat. cheaper than my local ground and is open till 9pm May till Sept. Well worth a look. boarder
Went there for the first time last year with my Cousin and we had a thoroughly good time. Loads and loads of targets at a very reasonable rate. I thought it was great.

Jega
The web site doesnt give a great deal of information ,so a couple of quick questions . Do they use unaccompanied auto /counter style traps, how much is a round of 25 clays ,and do you need to book in advance or is it a simple pay and play ? Thanks
Wilksy II
Hiya Jega! They use a plug in counter that you take round with you,and every trap has the option of instant release or delayed if your on your own, not sure about cost of 25 but on a tues/thurs late opening days it was £22 per 100, I think it's a price per clay that gets cheaper the more you shoot, no need to book just turn up, not open on a Monday!
