andy198744
Good morning all, I'm very interested in getting into some kind of shooting(birds preferably) and have no ideal where to start? Should I try clay pigeon shooting first? Or does anyone have a contact near to dundee that could help me out? Thanks in advance Andy
BrowningB525
I'd probably get your eye in on clays. You won't hit much game without practice.

You won't hit much game without practice. clays are a great way of starting out for both safety and to learn the basics of lead etc.Good luck Andy you will soon be knocking stuff out of the sky. big bad lindz
There is a great clay ground at Auchterhouse, or there is Clunie Claus across the bridge not to far from Dunfermiline. Go along and tell them what you want to do I am sure they will be able to help
novice cushie shooter
As above also braidwood clays at selkirk are very good. Also morton clays at livingston but i am not that keen on it and not sure if they have instructors. Sure there are a few on groupon pop up regular too.
