rbrowning2
Looks nicely made but some features look out of date, like the powder/shot bushes the adjustable type are far better as you are not restricted to the nearest correct bush. Look at the Dillon sl900 it also has power case feed. Then you have the European presses which have a rotating spinner for the final crimp which is much better but they don't have the ability to resize or reprime so I guess you pays your money and takes your choice. MEC is still hard to beat. Edited August 23, 2016 by rbrowning2
Continental Shooter
it seems a bit outdated if compared to other and at the price i much prefer getting a Colvini, C&P or even a GAEP
pinfireman
it seems a bit outdated if compared to other and at the price i much prefer getting a Colvini, C&P or even a GAEP Both the Colvini and the GAEP dislike once fired shells, ok with new ones, but buying new hulls just adds to the cost. The Colvini does not seem to have the ability to feed wads into a once fired case? The GAEP isn,t a progressive machine, so slow compared to the likes of Spolar, Dillon and Ponsness Warren. Both makes rely on electric motors for part of their function, takes away a bit of the man/machine mystic of reloading, and they are not CHEAP! I,ve tried a Spolar in the States, great machine, but expensive. Dillon was OK, but not for me, and I have a number of Ponsness Warren machines, that turn out great reloads, one of them after 45 years of continuos use....
