Gordon R
If you take the forend off and wobble the whole gun, you can normally feel if the barrels are loose in the action. Depends on the make of your gun and hinge pin(s) arrangement, as to how easy and how much.

Gunman
Need to ask a competent gunsmith . Its very difficult to estimate a price on a job like this without examination .It will also depend on how good a job you want doing as there is a difference between a "re-joint" and a" tighten ". TONY R
The Rizini lincolns which i guess it is, are a little tight and tend to wear in , mirokus are like this my old 3800 was a very tight gun new, Dont worry too much if its still on the face get a fiver out your wallet ...watch out for moths ... open the gun then try and close the gun if it shuts perfect you are running into troubled times, but if it shuts the leaver moves over just a little starts to lock up your all good, just keep clean and lubricate. is the leaver off to the right or getting well over to the left. ? another quick way of telling if things are wearing out.
