Scully
I'm not being funny, but is this a special issue? They're only 30 odd quid online.

Fair enough; I wouldn't know the difference between the real thing or a copy.

mr who?
I was given one of the "Cheaper" Types a few years ago . Out the box the it was pretty dull and the finish on the blade was poor to say the least . Even after a good few tries I was never happy with the edge , And soon blunted again even after a little light chopping . The hand guard came loose the first time I used it . And pretty soon the handles started to work free . After reattaching them the wood started to split and chip . Was at this point I just gave up and gave it away . I would have been fairly miffed if I had actually paid for it . On the other hand . I've had 3 genuine issue "Crows foot" Marked ones . I've since sold one and am now thinking that one should last a lifetime , So am prepared to sell the other spare one I've got left . I normally use mine for clearing the ground and making hides over the woods . Easy to sharpen and holds an edge well . Heavy enough for chopping and batoning . Full length tang and built like a tank . All the best Gents . Andy .
