Morning in the hide

Whilst having my breakfast I got a call from one land owner saying one field had 50+ pigeion and crow in it and 100 Canada geese looking at coming in. I drove over rang him from one end of field as he was in the yard the other end. Him and his son in law then gave me some driven geese.. Well 100 was an understatement and only having two shots i made them count.. Must of put up close to two hundred Canadas. Dropped two with the two shots. Then I set up my hide and had a bit of shooting. Got ten crows and 5 pigeons 2 picked 3 in hedge and unreachable which I dont like happening.

Then I walked the hedge for blackberries. Also then got home to a tub of sloes.. So all in all today has been a productive one..

thanks for the offer. just wondering if you ate them because you hear some poor things about the taste. my dad always eats them when i shoot them{he would eat anything} but i have never tried it to be honest. shot one a while back that was no good for eating but the ferrets soon got through it. well done and good shooting
