quentyn
would one of these http://www.pyramydair.com/s/m/Air_Venturi_Wing_Shot_Shotgun/3777 be section 2 in the UK ? it seems that you could also load it with .50 cal lead projectiles which would make it section 1 but then again you could also load a slug etc into a shotgun making it section1. Its smoothbore so i am leaning towards 2 thoughts ?
Jaymo
Stumper No1 is the length of the barrel for section 2 at 22.5"- but as its non repetition or pump/semi then it's poss to have shorter barrels on section 1 As to being able to use 'solid' then as its sec 1 you could ask to add 'slugs' , subject to having good reason of course

team tractor
Air shotguns have been around in the UK for 20+ years . The power of that thing( 360lb) makes it sec 2 straight away surely as ever the 50cal slugs are 760lb
Jaymo
Nope- thinking about it I think it would still be classed as Sec1 as it's not technically a 'Shotgun' , but a high powered air gun that is capable of firing 'shot'

TONY R
Never realised such a thing existed here or anywhere, If you got hold of one do you think it would be a practical weopon for rats in buildings etc replace the 9mms and .410.? Any idea in velocity? Be interesting to play with one for a few hours see what thewy are capable of, might look on youtube. Sadly i cant see them being practical but they are diferent, and if they did work it would be in instant cure for ever rising powder prices and no more shortages. Google Pegasus air shotgun and ultimate force air shotgun. Made in the mid 90's .Always looked amazing but I think wouldn't kill past 15 yards 450fps Edited October 16, 2016 by team tractor
