das
Having been untroubled for years, I am receiving around 30 junk emails a week. Apart from the usual betting, casino ads and the ever familiar PayPal scams, I have been informed that I have won $1500000 from some bank in Malaya, a message from a US General in Afghanistan and a hard up Solicitor in Spain. I'm not stupid enough to bother with these but it baffles me why they suddenly appear in vast numbers. Anyone else getting this trash and where does it come from? TIGHTCHOKE
Someone has sold your email address and it will only increase.
das
Fortunately Hotmail puts anything it seems not to like into a junk folder and you can get rid of the lot with 1 click.
gixxerboy
Yes I'm on Hotmail and have started getting loads recently just over the last two weeks and they're addressed to "Brian". I keep marking them as junk but I'm still getting lots. Really annoying.
longspoon
Have you recently clicked on "unsubscribe" on a newsletter or advertising email ? this confirms a live email address and in comes the junk !
la bala
My grandson is at Cambridge Uni studying computer science, i told him the other day, if he could come up with an idea, where as he could get into a link without opening it and send back a virus, he could be a rich man.
