Take him out the night before you need him and he will hopefully defrost ready for a bouncer, flapper or one half of a magnet. The crow, if you have the room, and he's in ok nick, freeze him to use on a cradle for decoying more. Never had any luck fooling maggies to dead birds, others might know something to do with them, i'd personally burry them or burn them. I love the calling aspect to shooting blackies, adds another dimension to it - and they are a damn site more intelligent with better eyesight too - makes it more satisfying.
