Piggy, either eat it or if you want to decoy later, cut one of its feet off and freeze it. Take him out the night before you need him and he will hopefully defrost ready for a bouncer, flapper or one half of a magnet.

The crow, if you have the room, and he's in ok nick, freeze him to use on a cradle for decoying more. Never had any luck fooling maggies to dead birds, others might know something to do with them, i'd personally burry them or burn them.

One way to decoy crows is use an owl or other large BOP decoy, on a post, split open a rabbit at his feet and grab a caller and learn the ways of the crow :stupid:

Shooting black ones is cracking sport, challenging and a lot different to pigeon - makes a nice substitute when pigeon are elusive (nowish) and helps the old native songbirds out too :)

Without blackies to shoot at there'd be nowt on round here.

Even Topgunners are struggling for birds.

I love the calling aspect to shooting blackies, adds another dimension to it - and they are a damn site more intelligent with better eyesight too - makes it more satisfying.

If only they tasted good :/

how do I make the most of the resources I have .. I now have 2 magpie decoys one dead pigeon and one dead crow both are in the freezer.

what could I do with these to use them to my advantage

you forgot about the 2 rabbits that you left in the back of my car. I found them five days later when i was trying to find out what the bloody smell was :good: .
