bakerboy
A worthwhile course, delivered well and a great learning curve for all, attendees and deliverers of the course. Everyone has something to learn and something to pass on. No one knows it all. Get yourself booked onto this course

triscrx
If it was local I'd give it a go.
bakerboy
If it was local I'd give it a go. You can contact BASC and ask for one in your area. Then collectively we can all give it a push, about 12/15 people (if l recall correctly) are required to make it a worthwhile event, but the more the merrier
nnorman32
Hi, do you need a SGC to attend or can you shoot the practical aspect supervised? Would be interested since my little lad (19, 6ft 2) is applying for his first grant this year.
nnorman32
Contacted BASC and they are happy to have accompanied son on course subject to usual declarations and can even loan a gun on day (left or right cast).

bakerboy
If it was local I'd give it a go. Another way to get a course down your way is to ask shooters local to you. Pigeon Watch is a great way of doing this, it is exactly what Wilksey done last year to great effect. Let people know here you are put up a poll on PW perhaps asking for people that can travel and then what distance would be acceptable and see what happens. There is a BASC Coach in the South West that delivers the course. Here are the dates of upcoming Course's, I hope this helps 13th May Introduction to Woodpigeon Shooting - Kibworth Harcourt, Leicestershire Kibworth Shooting Ground, Main A6, Harborough Road,Kibworth Beauchamp 23 Sep Introduction to Woodpigeon Shooting - Glenwherry Estate, Co Antrim Glenwherry Hill Farm, Glenhead Road,Ballymena 07 Oct Introduction to Woodpigeon Shooting - Richmond, Yorkshire Lime Kiln Cottage, Barton,Richmond Edited January 4, 2017 by bakerboy
Wilksy II
Just giving it a bump, there is a a lot of local interest so it won't take many pw members to make it happen, it was a really great day last time regardless of how much you already know about the sport of kings!!!
