Stonepark
English legislation is agricultural holdings act 1986 and is similarly worded
rodney
Repeated crop damage bills from the tenant farmers on the land over which we now shoot saw off the last shoot. They used to put down over 7000 pheasants each year on a 2500 acre estate. The last claim was for 7k which was settled at 3k.

To be honest that doesn't seem riduclasly high densites, only 3 birds per acre, i know of plenty of shoots stocking way more than that. But it may depend on the crops grown and how the birds are spread over that area
dazb1967
I find that hard to believe, what acreage? Don't believe it if you don't want to i've got no reason at all to lie about it or make it up, He had a big bill last year and is expecting the same this year, it is 100% the ducks and pheasants you actually see them out in the fields when we turn out on shooting days
