jeffjjack
Hi all, Any one know if any of the browning pins fit the MK70 (late 80's)? Got a corroded bottom pin and struggling to find a replacement. Regards Jeff
Gordon R
Does it look like this. It is a spare Browning / Miroku pin - I don't recall where and when I got it. It is unused. If this will fit your gun - you are welcome to it. Just message me your details and I will send it. No charge - just stick a pound in a charity collection of your choice. FreeShot
Godon I believe this is the upper one. I had the same issue with mine - see pic. I have taken it (both actually) out and polished it - works like a charm since.
Gordon R
Freeshot - your polishing is way better than mine.
jeffjjack
Its a mates gun and not a take down look at them yet.... Will try and look or at least get a few pictures from him. Will happily polish one up abit… does this not affect the length or ability to strike correctly? Another thing... is only one pin sprung return... He tells me the top is sprung but the bottom one is just loose to slide? Regards Jeff
Gordon R
Looking at the pins - it would appear the bottom one has the tapered part for the spring.
jeffjjack
Spot on Gordon of course... that makes sense And thinking about it it would be the bottom that would require the spring.... I think

PhilR
My trap shooting mate is a gunsmith and puts B25 firing pins in our Mirokus. He champfers the shoulders of them so they protrude slightly further out. In competition the 3rd and subsquent misfire in a round is deemed a lost target therefore I want the primer hit well, and not particularly bothered if an odd primer is pierced. Gunman
Al Japanese made Miroku/Browning's use the same pins .Bottom pins are interchangeable with B25 pins but not the tops . They all have the dame problem and there are many theories as to why .
