fat_jay
Off for a weeks fishing in France in May. Would like to be able to keep in touch with home whilst im away. My current phone has a work sim and doesn't work abroad. Can anyone recommend a network which works in France and possibly know of a PAYG sim to go for? (data on the sim would be good) Thanks in Advance Jay
UKPoacher
If you don't want to sign up for a contract then just go into any large supermarket and get a 'sans contrat' or 'sans engagement' SIM card from the cashier. You can get them pre-payed for different amounts and bin it when you've done. As for recommending a provider; your hosts would be the best to advise as coverage varies throughout the country. Much the same as in the UK.
markm
Get a 3 sim which has their 'feel at home' attached. You can use the data / minutes / text as you would at home.

Newbie to this
Get a 3 sim which has their 'feel at home' attached. You can use the data / minutes / text as you would at home. Same as this I always take a 3 payg sim with me if my destination is in their feel at home. Can't beat it
