figgy Posted March 16, 2017 Report Share Posted March 16, 2017 (edited) They stopped making them due to how thin optima chokes are and the amount of variation in the optima choke threads. Lots of the chokes were splitting. Two of mine had faults one split the other the hard titanium coating chipped away looked like leopard skin pattern inside, both were replaced with no problem by Muller uk agent. The idea of muller was lighter and being alloy don't come loose, stainless is no better than the makers chokes.
