how effective are they?

i dont have any but people seem very enthusiastic over them

cheers

thanks

i always have a couple of dead birds in the freezer for th magnet so yer i could put them on either.

they seem to vary in price quite a bit across the net.

and i quite fancy the angel one which has a fanned tail which makes it look like th pigeon is landing but that is quite expensive.

but if they are all good i think i will buy a couple but i might wait till the game fair.

they seem to be around 15 quid.

im a bit tight for cash at the moment!

I think bouncers, or floaters , are the best and least expensive way to introduce movement into your decoy layout.

If I could only take 5 decoys with me, it would be 5 bouncers.

So where do you get them from, or how do you make em. Ie what materials?.

3 bamboo canes and a spool of fishing line

Cane up the vent and into the head, angled into the ground

2 canes out to the sides by 6 foot, line tied to the wing tips and onto the canes

Tension in the line keeps the body from rotating

Pigeon or crows :good:
