Pointy Hat
I have just got a Mauser K98 in 7.92 and although I know how to remove the bolt I don't know how to de-cock it once it's out. I don't think it would be good to store it cocked. Can anyone please tell me how to de-cock the bolt for storage once it's out the rifle? welshwarrior
Shoe lace around the cocking piece pull slightly to the rear and twist to line up with the V notch in the rear of the bolt body and gentle release the pressure. Corrected thanks to auto type Edited April 27, 2017 by welshwarrior
