spready
Has anyone tried using RWS Z lang .22lr ammo? they are similar to the CCI cb longs? but are told they are abit more consistent and accurate? ** excuse the post title, no idea what happened and now I can't change it ** Edited May 1, 2017 by spready
spandit
I use the RWS Subsonic HP and they are pretty good. Never heard of the ZLang until now. They seem to be 29gr bullet rather than the 40gr of the former. The CCI are 29gr too. Edited May 1, 2017 by spandit
spready
yes I found the cci to be fairly accurate but very inconstant over a box of 100. so wondering if the RWS had the same problems
Whitebridges
I've used quite a few on vermin at close range, mainly rats and squirrel. Pretty decent accuracy through my Annie. I adjust the scope via ASV bullet drop compensator when using Z Lang. It takes all of five seconds and is zeroed to 32 yards and is bob on. They are loaded in a LR case but the bullet is shorter. When feeding from the mag they need a little persuasion. I just put my finger on top of the bullet and push the bolt forward to shove it in the chamber. Z Lang are not readily available around these parts. The last lot I bought were from J F Neville of Alfreton who always seem to have them in stock. spready
Im lucky as I found the NRSA shop has them in stock and its too far away. As I said the CCI are ok in my 22 but very inconstant, so wouldn't mind trying some

I also tried Remington CBee which were a little better but very rough and poor quality. The Z Lang is the best of breed in low powered .22LR IMO. spready
Think I will grab a couple of boxes and give them a go..
spready
Very easily..... fire a good group with say ten , then maybe one or two in then next 10 would give me a horrible flyer. I would call that inconsistent
Rimfireboy
Ive found Z-Langs to be in a different league to CCI cb longs for accuracy. They're about half as much power again as the CCI CB longs though. Very good in my anschutz for when a full power sub is too much. I don't like to be without any. Nevilles got some in stock, saw them last week.
