Stealth Stalker Posted June 5, 2007 Report Share Posted June 5, 2007 After putting a couple of 100 rounds through the new HMR & sorting out the clunk clik trigger we set out after blooding her in. Started off by sighting her in at 100 yrds & you've all seen the groups on Pins post, so no need to tell you this rifles extremely accurate, he had a grin from ear to ear when he saw where he'd just put the last 5 shots We then set about finding some long range bunnies for him, & typically they weren't playing ball :yp: So the first shot in anger was at a small bunny no more than 35 yds away, needless to say there was no suffering As the light was fading, he then experianced that annoying occurance of a couple of missed bunnies at the 70 yrd mark :blink: Need to sort that scope out mate We ended the evening with 12 healthy rabbits, destined for the butcher :blink: I can see were gonna have some fun with this rifle & it will come into its own sorting out the long range bunnies that are destroying the nets, that the FAC air can't quite get near enough.
