Grazy
Does anyone know how long these are taking st the moment. This is the first time I am renewing, so a little unsure of the process. I've printed off the form and am filling it out.
essexfluke
Hi did mine last month, sent by recorded delivery on the Friday got back the following Friday. 7 days for both shotgun and firearms. Only had 3 weeks before both ran out and thought I would have to store my rifle and get a temp shotgun cirt. I received a letter with both saying that they no longer issue temp certificates and will follow up with a visit at a later date. Must admit a was shocked as my dad had waited for around 6 months last year on a temporary certificate.

landy george
I heard they stopped giving out S7 as they then have to give you a new ticket. This way they could stop your new ticket if they want to now. Edited May 16, 2017 by landy george

Superposed
Post 01/01/17 they should be all done via postal renewal so a much quicker turnaround, probably a week or two? - there are still people waiting pre 2017 who are still in the backlog from the old system i think. TbirdX
Got mine this month, applied May 2016, so took a year. Wife applied for her renewal earlier this year and got new ticket in a week.
