Pigeon Shredder.
Over the past weeks we have had a lot of young birds in the garden being fed by their parent and it's been a pleasure to see them all. This morning I have just been down to make breakfast and it looks like my lawn has been scarified overnight. Are they rebuilding already for the next brood? AVB
My lawn is the same. I think they are looking for bugs though rather than collecting thatch

anser2
Paul its more likely its a second pair of blue tits that has been unable to find a nest site early on laying its first brood of the year, rather than a second brood. Second broods as far as I know are unknown , but Great tits will lay a second brood in poor quality habitat like pine woodland but only one in an oak woodland but the clutch will be double or more the size of the pine wood birds.
