Feltwad
Always good reports from this yearly shoot I have promised myself in the past to attend but now owning to the distance and age driving would now be a problem .There should be a good attendance from the muzzle loaders down south so all you need is good weather Keep your powder dry Feltwad

Feltwad
Most Muzzle loading Nationals are now held on nitro shooting grounds this one including birds thrown can be difficult for a muzzle loader, plenty of lead is required a lot more than if you were using nitro Good Luck Feltwad

moongeese
Sorry for the slow response Feltwad. It was a great day out, and the weather held off with its rain, that was forecast for the afternoon. A good turnout, but it would have been nice to see a few more Scottish shooters out, but the Scottish turnout, was nearly all first timers to the event, but they left all saying they will be back next year. Feltwad
Moongeese Thanks for posting the images I wish I had been there too .Regonise several shooters in the images it is good to see more of the Scottish shooters there ,When I first joined the MLAGb in 1963 there was a good following of muzzle loaders in Scotland with four muzzle loading clubs ,it would be good for the sport to see that come back once again Once again thanks for the images Feltwad
